How to Release your Butterflies

Your butterflies will arrive ready to fly. We offer two different methods for release - whichever is used, the result will be spectacular.

Individual Release Boxes
Elegant, triangular white boxes, each designed to hold one beautiful butterfly for individual release. When opened the butterflies quickly respond to light and warmth and will begin to fly. The individual boxes are handed out to those participating in the butterfly release. This can be done by placing the butterfly boxes in a basket or other attractive container. At the appropriate time the butterflies are released by simply removing the band on the release box. This method allows those participating in the release to be involved in your ceremony and take away a lasting memory. A popular and visual method of butterfly release.

Mass Release Boxes
You will receive all the butterflies in an attractive special release box or several boxes, depending on your requirements. When the box is opened the butterflies will respond to light and begin to fly.

Conditions for release
Release butterflies during daylight hours and at least 2 hours before sunset. Temperatures should be more than 17°C. It is important that butterflies not be released inside buildings where they may become trapped.
